A2I2 Present at 2022 Australian Cyber Conference

The Applied Artificial Intelligence Institute (A2I2) has delivered a public presentation on the key points of AI technologies at the 2022 Australian Cyber Conference. 

A2I2 Deputy Head of Translational Research and Commercialisation, Dr. Leonard Hoon, delivered the presentation to an enthusiastic audience eager to learn more about the implications of AI within modern frameworks. 

Dr. Hoon’s presentation took place on Thursday 13th October at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

He opened the AI and Machine Learning track for the day, and covered an array of concepts including socio-technical explorations, AI methodologies, and featured projects from A2I2 which utilise AI techniques.

“CyberCon is a multidisciplinary event that brings a range of people together to share ideas and encourages shared learning,” Dr. Hoon said.

“I placed an emphasis on sharing some of the lessons we’ve learnt over the years in delivering AI solutions. Ultimately, we hope that this uplifts the national capability in AI.” 

The Australian Cyber Conference 2022 is Australia’s leading cyber security conference. CyberCon provides business leaders with insights and best practices taught by the industry’s top experts through keynotes, panel sessions and live demonstrations. 

This year’s conference, held from October 11th – 13th  brought together a range of industry experts, including Steve Wozniak, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, Dylan Alcott AO, and The Hon. Julie Bishop.
