2019 ARC Laureate Research Partnerships Day
Every year researchers and industry partners get together to provide an update of the ARC Laureate Fellowship program on Pattern analysis for accelerating scientific innovation. This year the event was held on the 1 November at the Waurn Ponds Estate and topics included: Using AI techniques for exploration and invention; Increasing the incidence of exercise subscriptions from doctors; New alloy design and processing; Materials science discovery; Optimising for Bio-printing; Accelerated discovery for armour design; and Algorithmic assurance. For each topic the Industry partner would describe the problem and the context and a Laureate researcher would explain the science behind finding a solution.
