Lack of gender diversity in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) workforce is raising growing concerns.

The team at the Nesta organization, an innovation firm based out of UK, published a research paper on gender diversity in the AI research workforce. According to their findings, after surveying 1.5 million arxiv papers, Alfred Deakin Professor Svetha Venkatesh, Co-Director of A2I2, is in the list of the top 15 women with the most AI publications on Arxiv.  See the research and the list here.
