Professor Svetha Venkatesh ranked in the top 15 women working in AI

Lack of gender diversity in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) workforce is raising growing concerns. The team at the Nesta organization, an innovation firm based out of UK, published a research paper on gender diversity in the AI research workforce. According to their findings, after surveying 1.5 million arxiv papers, Alfred Deakin Professor Svetha Venkatesh, Co-Director of A2I2, is in the list of the top 15 women with the most AI publications on Arxiv.  See the research and the list here.
