DSTIL receives Google grant to develop next-gen workshops and curriculum

DSTIL Software Engineers and Academics from the Deakin School of IT to provide Digital Technologies Curriculum Outreach Workshops to Victorian High School teachers.

Each year, Google funds professional development workshops for IT educators around the world, and this year we are excited to announce that DSTIL will be working with Google to provide high-quality curriculum and PD workshops for Victorian IT educators and future educators.

The workshops are offered completely free of charge to participants and are running September 20 – 21. Hosted both at the Deakin Burwood campus and live-streamed online, the workshops allow us to reach regional educators who often face difficulty gaining access to similar professional development opportunities.
